ACROSS THE NATION: The Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club 9th & 10th Calvary Chapter of California is committed to projecting a positive image of African American men and women by always showing respect for one another, the motorcycle community and the civilian community at large.
Although there are many Buffalo Soldier Motorcycle Clubs throughout the United States that may fly different colors and patches, we are ALL still one family committed to the preservation of the memory of the Buffalo Soldiers of the 9th and 10th Cavalry. | OUR CLUB'S HISTORY An avid motorcycle rider, enthusiast & highly respected young woman, Yvonne "Isis" Palmer founded the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club 9th & 10th Calvary in 1998 to bring to Southern California a motorcycle club that would ride their "iron horses" in recognition of the Civil War soldiers, while participating in community activities.
Her untimely death in 2000 sparked a flame in the heart her Vice President, Deryk "Smooth" Howard to keep alive her vision for a motorcycle club that welcome both men and women riders willing to ride as brothers and sisters carrying the spirit of the Buffalo Soldiers. Leading the Club as its President since Isis' untimely death, Smooth was joined by James "Soldier" King to take on Isis' mission, and today the club has grown from these 2 men to 32 men and women Buffalo Soldiers motorcycle riders (BSMC) in addition to another 16 Buffalo Soldiers Social Club (BSSC) members, led by their Voice, "Million$Baby", and Vice Voice, "Pepa".
